track IR
« on: April 28, 2011, 07:21:34 AM »
It used to work both in 6 degrees, and just the yaw and pitch with the saved views. Also the yaw & pitch way would not let you use the arrow keys and page up and down unless you paused the tracker. Now you only get the default views in yaw and pitch. Also if you use the 6 degrees you have to jump around in the seat, as well as if you hit the arrow keys or the page up/down they work in strange ways, with in the tracker(you don't have to hit the pause for them to work improperly).

In all the updates It never changed the way track IR worked, this is 3 years of using tracker I'm talking about, why now?? If you didn't intentionally do this will you please fix this. I have  been playing this Sim for about 6 years and don't see why it cant remain the same for the tracker.

Please post a response too this, don't leave us in limbo wondering about weather it will revert or if this is now the norm.

I can't duplicate this. I have a TrackIr 4 using the 6 DOF all the time. Nothing has changed for me, had not to change, fix or adjust anything.

I'm not saying that the 6 degrees don't work. Just that the arrow keys work within tracker(not paused for this) and they don't work right. also if you just use the yaw and pitch you get the default not the saved views.

Bentnail is correct my TrackIR views are now default while my hat switch views when disabling TrackIR in game are the views i saved.resaving the views does not save them in TrackIR. I am also only using yaw/pitch/roll axis in TrackIR

Checking your six in an FM2 has never been ideal with a Tracker or otherwise, but now, even with all functions turned on, I'm screwed!!  :furious

Bentnail's got a point here ....  "Please post a response too this, don't leave us in limbo wondering about weather it will revert or if this is now the norm."
