ALLIES: Burma Backwater Frame 2
« on: May 14, 2011, 09:08:53 AM »
You all were handed some rough assignments last night.  Everyone did their best and good results were achieved.

Great discipline and clever innovation created a pretty good looking "fun zone" as well.  My meter was pegged.  You guys did that.

Last night was my first as a Frame CIC.  It's one of those unforgettable things.  It was beyond my expectations.  You guys did that.

There's another post up there about the attack at V15.  To the Red Defense Group:  Keep your chins up.  100 additional fighters would not have made a dent in such a well-planned and executed wave attack.

Honor to the Allied squadrons.
Salute to the Axis.

yeah that v-15 attack was well planned...my squad was starting to think there wouldn't be an attack at v-15 when we got the alert there were ki84s spotted south/southwest of the base...we were at 30k just south east of the base and turned to run intercept when we found ourselves in the midst of a large number of zekes jumping us from high 6...the ensuing furball with the 3 defending squads and no clue how many zekes and ki84s was unreal. and the majority of the bombers got by us.

bank left, zeke at 12, check 6 you have a zeke on you, bank right, zeke at 12, check 6 you have a ki84 on you...cllimb, roll, flop like a fish...holy cow we're in deep sheep dip...look, low g4ms, forget the 3 guys on your 6, dive and kill the bombers...tally ho!!!

it was a lot of nail biting fun...excellent planning by both cic's  :salute  thank you for a job well done raider.

The Gunfighters were to the South of V15 at 20-22k we were working from the NE to the S with 2 other squads lurking about up high.We had 4 scouts working N to S when the main group got jumped by KI's from the S 2 other furballs ensued about 7 min before the bombers moved in we found our selves overwhelmed but managed to keep a few pilots up for most of the onslaught Gunfighters did not fair so well but we worked hard to stop it thanks GFs , Sick Puppies and II/JG-27 for the help at V15 <S> ALL. :salute   :airplane:
