weird links
« on: April 24, 2011, 10:26:34 PM »
ok...i'm probably just missing something obvious.

i go to the ahwiki page, then to the offline missions.

if i choose one that's hosted on fileden, i get nothing...no download option or link.

if i go to those hosted on ahcombat flight simulator.....it seems that they're all broken up?

 ami missing something?

that kinda sucks.

i don't get too much time that i can log in, so i figured i'd download a couple of the p38 missions to continue practicing with the trackir, till work slows up enough that i can get back in the game more.l........

if you want to practice the p38 i would suggest bbosens' missions. look up on his website, a lot of great, enternaining and historically accurate missions.

I've never messed with the writing code that the wiki uses, but I'll give it a shot at updating it when I get a chance.  Anyone else is free to help if they so choose. :salute

i've no clue how to do those things......and i liked some of your missions, but know how much time you already spend doing other things...such as terrains, and couldn't make myself ask you for help with this.......

All - I know a LOT of ex-FA'er's really want to use some of the missions to hone their skills before they venture online.

FA used to have several canned offline missions where you could practice against 5 semi-aggressive fighters, or bombing, or making torpedo run, etc.  Very easy to set up and use.   You could pick your plane or your enemies plane, and the 'aggressiveness' of the AI pilots, though they were still pretty dumb.

Also, if you could post a 'How To' sticky at the top of this forum that would be a great help too.

I know I use Rune's Rumble all the time to practice quite a bit.  Just wish there was a really easy way to pick the plane I flew.

You can find detailed instructions for changing the planes used in an offline mission here:
