Look who's talking. The guy makes a good wish and then you come on like you're one of the dev's going through a rough day at work.

I myself liked that beep when it wasn't so loud but now I can't stand how much it vibrates my head. I would love to be able to change that sound to a radio click or something (...of lower volume).

As it is now, I don't think you can change the volume of the beep without changing the master volume.
and notice that before the thread got jacked i gave the only real response? not something completely off topic...

go away kid, ya botherin me...

still trying to get a handle on tyrannis' fixation on the radio pinger sound...the intent of pinger and roger beeps doesn't fit in the ah realm...aside from disrupting ongoing communications when people are trying to communicate information very fast, it wouldn't add anything but another noise...i have it disabled so there is no interruption.

It's just an audible cue saying "Listen Up!" I don't use it either because I find it disruptive when the chatter really picks up, but I don't think somebody should have to NOT use it if it's their preference solely because it's too loud.

i allready stated the answer to what you ask.
i like to have a sound before someone goes to talk, because it bring my full attenchian to Vox to hear&understand that person before he begins to talk.

but like i said, i dont like the loud "BEEP!", which does get annoying fast. so i'd like to have the ability to change it to possibly a different radio sound from the real world.

couldnt it be implemented in the same way custom soundpacks work? maybe add an extra folder for the Vox and add the ability to create customized vox transmission noises.
