Sorry not a facebook user. Does this mean you get to stay in business or close?
We will be around for years to come still. We are set up pretty well in the way we operate by having multiple investments and cash reserves. We will sell an aircraft before we have to shut down completely.
The main reason for it is that we are a little outdated in the way we do things.
For example, this is our current/old site. http://airheritage.org/
It gets the job done, but it’s very basic compared to all the other museums.
Now we do have a new site under construction that is completely new and will allow us so to have many more possibilities. For example, previously if you wanted to donate any money, you had to send a check through the mail, now we will have the capabilities that people can donate through the internet. Same thing with memberships, you either had to come to the hangar to join or send in the application and check through the mail, but now, you will be able to join and pay online. The biggest thing will be a new online gift shop.
More or less, I’m just trying to prove that if we continue to modernize in the way we get our name out there, we can get more supporters and with more supporters we are more likely to be able to grow the organization.
Thanks for the support so far guys. Pass it along to your squadies if you want. I bet some of you have already seen us in person at air shows but never knew it.
Ps memberships are only $30 a year.
