Yeah it has to be a joke. During real lasik a thin layer of the cornea is sliced and the lasers reshape underneath that flap. No possible way it could be done at home LOL
I heard that Lasik surgery by a professional isn't worth the cost because you eye actually grows back to its old shape...

Not very, I would say.
I had professional Lasik done about 10 years ago.
It was one of the best things I've ever done, I was driving without glasses the next morning, haven't worn glasses since.
I only wish this technology had been available when I was in my 20's.
My vision with glasses was a little better than it is today without them, but it was worth the small difference.
I will still need reading glasses someday, as that is not a function of eye shape but losing lens elasticity due to age.
However I probably won't ever need bifocals.
I highly recommend it, but I didn't go with the lowest bidder.
No place for bargain priced surgery IMO.
