Network Adapters
« on: August 24, 2011, 09:30:53 AM »
<S>
Something I was always curious about with the Network adapters. On my wireless Gigabyte/properties, I have
numerous settings to enable/disable as follows.
1) Carrier detect
2) Country Region 11 A
3) "             "        11G
4) Frame Aggregation
5) IEEE 802.11h
6) Radio on/off
7) Smart Scan
8) Tx Burst
 What are these settings? Should anything be enabled/disabled for better performance of adapter.
Like I said, just curious. No issues.

the defaults are usually fine, the only thing I enable is WOL because I have multiple sites and need it to start up remote machines over VPN.
