Aircraft (Patrol)
« on: September 07, 2011, 02:10:12 PM »
I'd like to see flying boats for Recon/S&R for enemy carrier groups and picking up downed pilots.

H8K Emily (S&R, Anti-Shipping)
PBY-5A (S&R, Anti-Shipping, Bombing)
BV-138 (S&R, Bombing)
Bv-222 (Para Drops, Port Cargo)
DO-18 (S&R)
DO-24 (S&R)
Short Sunderland (S&R, Anti-Shipping, Para Drops, Port Cargo)
FW-200 Condor (Recon, Para Drops, Cargo, Anti-Shipping)

I think these would be great additions for Sea/Coastal Players

Thank You

The Emily and Sunderland have decent defensive guns. Historically, both of these were "Flying Porcupines".

There just isn't a big variety in Navel "stuff" to use.

I understand about more targets but, these were part of the Naval War back in the day.

remove and insert "resupplying CV groups"

otherwise everything sounds good +1

how would one go about re-supping a CV as every ord drop on the deck goes right thru to the water? you would have to land on the cv then drop it. and we all know why because of the chute and having to be 100% accurate before you drop it.

the float plains land with the cvs, you drop the supps and a little animation takes over say a raft with a box. (nothing to complicated) raft goes to the cv, cv gets resupplied, simple

How much variety in navel "stuff" do you need?  I prefer innies.

This thread was going nowhere anyway.  A good reason to post gratuitous navel pics.  :)
