Any ventrilo hosts?

Ok I want to buy ventrilo, so we can communicate with one another In good quality. So, I went to the sight and just got lost. So I am asking for help to set up my own server!

Droptine from my squad just got us setup on Ventrillo, If you catch him on, you may want to send him a PM on it :aok

I thought The Few already had a third party comms app like Ventrillo or TeamSpeak...  Pretty sure I read about that on here somewhere...    :bolt:

you want to "buy" ventrilo or rent a hosted server?

my squad uses teamspeak but either way, this is the hosting company i use, good support and not expensive.

why not just setup your own server,not sure about vent but TS let's you download a server and or client. I used to run a TS server on my game machine while gaming but any old comp would do.

i wouldn't want the extra traffic on my home network connection, especially for ah. i think ventrilo is a bit more lightweight in that regard but it's been years since i tried.

It's free to host ventrilo on ur own comp but the number of users is limited to 5 at any one time.  This means you and 4 buddies.  Scour the internet.  You can rent 25-member hosts for as little as $7/mo.
