Avatar Help, WTF is going on?!

I finnaly got an avatar that I like but it wouldn't upload from my flash drive to my profile.  Instead it kept adding a different avatar that I didn't like as much.  So I went to add this avatar to my sig and it threw it into my avatar section when I put the link in my sig.

WTF does that have to do with skins or sounds is a better question to start with.

dragon, you're a programmer should be easy, did you save the gif itself to your disk or just the link? second, did you try shortening the name of the file?

Ok, to start I posted this in here becuase I've seen other threads about avatars moved to the sounds and skins section before.

Second, I'm not a programer yet.  I'm having trouble getting a uC to work properly, and ironicly I don't like fussing with computers when I don't have to.

But I did save the avatar under its origonal name to my disk drive as an image, not a link.  The only thing I left out was that I had uploaded a previous avatar from my flash drive and that was the one that kept coming up.

shorten the name of the gif file, something odd about the original file name kept it from uploading properly from my system too. i changed it to a single short word and it worked.
