Oh please, one lil problem, didn't cause a crash or fatality, so its not really that big of a deal
in 2010 "one lil' problem" of some kind did...

The F-22's stealth capability is what sets it apart.

I am sure many of you know of the tests the AF runs. One F-22 versus 5 F-15's is one I have heard of. No contest. The F-22 kills most of them without being seen. Of course these are simulated missile shots and anything but the Sidewinder has yet to prove it's reliability, but seeing the enemy before he sees you is a huge advantage.

The F-35 is a dog. Any fighter currently in the inventory will eat it alive if it gets to a turning/energy fight.

Cheaper, means chittier, F22 is super expensive because its unstoppable
no...its super expensive because of the materials needed to make it. the F-14 was cheaper than the F-22 and it still did freaking amazing.

(not to mention the F-14 is one of my favorite planes :neener:)

I thought it was 1 f22 vs 19 f15s.
