It's too good of a plane to deserve 31 ENY. It has great guns, can take a whole bunch of fire, dives really well, and has a good range.

you forgot that it's almost 1000lbs overweight and flies like a pig in mud.

It might be 1000lbs heavier than A5 but it's defiantly not overweight. Overweight airplanes handle a lot worse than A8. Sure it's not a Spitfire but it's still a good plane.

yes, it is overweight by 900+ lbs. you must have missed the previous discussions and the subsequent innuendo remarks by other players.

What does the factory say it's maximum take off weight is? and what is it's actual weight?

Yeah I think I missed the previous discussion.

I hadn't flown one of these in forever.  I upped one in a furrball the other day and ranged on some blue planes before finally losing E and dropping below the fight.  Still, forgot how much of a beast this plane is and what phenominal roll rate it packs.

This is not exactly correct Baummer found that the A8 was around 490lbs overweight and some of his imformation showed that 2x20mm package was within the weights listed by the LW.

I been thinking that instead of asking for the A-8 to be adjusted, we should be asking HT for another A-series 190.  A lighter A-7/8 model and a heavier A-8/9 higher-altitude variant in place for the overweight-beast of an A-8 we have int he game now.

That plus a D-11/13, and I'd die one happy twittler.

(PS - My birthday is tomorrow, I'll bribe you with cake HT :pray )

190A8 it seems that its alot better at killing bombers than fighting well, fighters in game depending on your compitence with it. i'd never take a 190 to the middle of a furball and expect to come out with both wings.

when would i ever leave a furball with wings?
