Dance on the deck
« on: November 05, 2011, 12:15:59 PM »
Managed to get one of the Yaks at V44 to auger but a lend lease P-40 took my wing a few seconds later. We managed to drag most all the defenders to the deck and our bombers made it in and out largely unscathed. Can't say as much for V44 tho. : )     :salute

I believe that Yak to auger was DWShrddr.  He lost energy and hit the ground too hard.

The Ju-88's came in high and the 109's did push us defenders dow to the weeds.  I had to re-climb back up to 18,000 and start shooting at them after their second pass over V44.  I believe that V44 was pretty much wiped out.  Some of them didn't make it home. :t

Is there a way to hit it "too light"?  :D :rofl
