49th leaving FSO
« on: December 06, 2011, 10:11:31 AM »
There is a possibility that due to real life issues, we will be pulling ourselves out of FSO for now. So our squad does not hurt the war effort, we think it is best to remove ourselves so we do not short change any prospective Battle plans. We will be back in strength , but not until early next year.

I do still have 4 or 5 experienced sticks who do want to continue to fly FSO, so if anyone has a few empty seats, we would gladly join up.

The 412th could use 3 or 4 pilots in the last two frames of December and go from there, we could possibly up the numbers in January to accommodate any extra guys.

The 412th FSO squad is mostly Volunteers made up from other other squads that have been forced to leave FSO due to numbers. We have a good time and would love to have you aboard.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

you could adjust your numbers to just  4-6 and change the contacts so that those who want to continue can take the helm for a bit...

49Jester - Very sorry to hear that and hopeful that you don't have to pull yourselves or at least return quickly intact.

That being said the 325th VFG can and would take your entire squad as is and they can fly together with us as a flight within our formation.  Then when you get back they can then detach from us and return to the 49th colors.

Jester its been a real pleasure planning and flying with you and your squad on numerous missions over the past 18 months.

Allied CIC will or will not include 49th FG for remainder of this months FSO participation?

<S> Jester, sorry to hear that sir. Hope whoever is having troubles makes it through OK. Give my best to the squad.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

It will not sir, we have decided for the good of the cause to step down. Some of us will continue to fly with another squad until we get back on our feet.
I apologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks Viper and Jager, we really like FSO, its well run and good fun. Unfortunately, real life has reared its ugly head in a few of my officers lives lately, but we will be back.
As to who we will be upping with, we appreciate the offer very much.It has been an honor to fly with you guys in the past. The Brass is going over the options.
