Anyone know the statuses of the other 2-3 that were being built? i think 2 were supposed to be static and 3 flying of the 5(?) they were building, but i think one of the flying a/c became static because they couldnt find i buyer. However, the site hasnt been updated in like 2 years.

I don't know what the status of the other planes are but this two seater was the "first flight" plane. This was shortly after roll out when they were posing it with some other old WW2 stuff for a photo shoot.

They had a static (original I believe) one at Willow Grove NAS, Pa. on display before base shut down.
Wonder what became of it?

Grew up near Willow Grove and drove past that 262 so many times.  It was outside and neglected for years.  Then they built that little museum at the base and restored the plane to put it on display.  Later, I moved to Florida and was kicking myself for not going to see it.  Then I moved back to the area and now it's in, of all places Florida?   :bhead
