It's just disrespectful to bring gun control politics into a thread like that. It's silly too, just look what happened in my country a year ago.

That was not the thread but I agree.

My post here was because I felt bad about being part of another thread. I was not even thinking about that rule at the time. I was just responding to other posts. Posts that received the same as I did. I felt bad enough that I was about to call him but decided he is probably busy enough babysitting here and getting the wires unwrapped off his boots.

The thread was doomed, Skuzzy doesn't watch the national news much and is just finding out ol' Joe is the self-apointed Federal head of the CIA, FBI, ATF, Customs AND Immigration.

Agreed.... I've said that for awhile now. There is no true news outlets anymore. All they do is filter everything thing through with their own spin.

Real news outlets used to report what actually happened and let you, the listener/reader, develope your own ideas about it.

I read reddit and fark.com every morning, if I need actual news I leave BBC on in the morning.

Agreed.  In situations like the one today, this "coverage" by these 24/7 stations only encourages and strengthens a would be assailant to commit a similar act.

That is sig material right there and unfortunately far far too true.

No one learns anymore about the period of time in the US when the news was termed as yellow journalism. Unfortunately we are experiencing it all over again and have yet to find anyone in the journalism business, and it IS a business, with enough ethics to expose the fraud for what it is. In addition to that no one cares enough to be bothered about it either. The sheeple are happy on their formula of pablum and fertilizer. Do not disrupt the flow.
