Plane was 1.6K from me when the round hit.

I took out a B-17 at 25K in a yak9T from 1.6K once. Took quite a few shots to get the drop right, and even then dispersion scattered the rest... used all but 4 of my rounds to down just the lead plane in formation. Didn't bother with the other two because of low ammo.

Twas a while back, and nope I didn't record it.

Damm you messed up his day... wonder how many kills he was landing. My best was a 1.5 k midair shot in t34, and yes I have pics...

Shot a lanc down from a shore battery at 1.5k, No proof though.
