Self levelling extension ladder
« on: August 25, 2012, 09:33:27 AM »
I bought one of these kits and I must say it's $80 well spent.  The thing levels itself when I set it down now.

Easy to install and they remembered to put ice cleats on the feet.

If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Really? I had to order mine separately from the only local supply house that carries this brand.  They did install it for free though :D

I hate self levelers on extension ladders. I use a 28ft one everyday and I learned after using one that had those horrid things on it to never have any put on mine ever

They're aluminum.  The gears inside are brass or bronze or some other copper alloy by the looks of them.
