Teamspeak host recommendations
« on: September 07, 2012, 09:04:11 AM »
Of late the VOX lag has been a bit annoying to me.  I am looking into possibly going with Teamspeak.  Can anyone recommend a good host?

Just FYI, until the conventions are over the Internet is going to be a mess, particularly on the East and Southern coasts of the U.S.  This will impact European connections as well.

Cisco has estimated an additional terrabyte a day of data is being pumped around due to the conventions.  With no increase in the router capacities, that type of load increase will be felt over a large area of the planet.

Tx Skuzzy..

This isn't just this week, but something I have seen for a while, actually always.  The more players in the area, the worse it gets.  What ever you do, don't be anywhere near a big horde that just took a base, the "WTG's" will last for 5 minutes.

Ventrilo works just fine for me, rarely ever lags and quality is quite fine. Teamspeak is the same.
