Can you resupply CVs?
« on: September 07, 2012, 03:24:02 PM »
I recently watched a CV go from being hit and set on fire to not on fire anymore in much less than the expected repair time, so I'm wondering if it is now possible to resupp CVs with a C47?

I think with the new system you can as long as the CV isn't sunk. Don't quote me on it, wait until Lusche chimes in   :D

Well, you can land a C47 on the deck and really good pilot might be able to even parachute supplies onto the deck. So theoretically, it should be possible. It might even be that the strat range thing applies and just have to get the supplies NEAR the CV.

CVs had always been repairing themselves. Given enough time, not only items like dar or desroyed guns come back, but also sunk ships - as long as the CV itself is still floating. Nothing had changed in this regard.
With the new hit messages, you will now even see how long it will take until a sunk escort will be back.
