Film landing on a CV
« on: August 20, 2012, 10:59:43 PM »
Every time I record a film landing or bombing a CV the boat moves and I land in thin air or my bombs hit nothin but water...the boats 1.5K ahead & it explodes when my bombs hit the water....?

I have had the same issue with the film on CV landings, ie: landing on CV with no CV visible on the film. :headscratch:

maybe when you fast forward to the place you want to record, something doesn't come with you?  :headscratch:  :huh

It's a known issue with Task Grops and the film viewer...not sure if it will be fixed; been that way forever.

You can Macgiver a fix all by yourself.

Start your film recorder just before you attack the boat.
If you autofilm sorties, stop your recorder then restart it right before you attack the boat.

The boat will be where it belongs when you view the film.

If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Tried this & several other ways...even if the ship is in the right spot it moves sideways, backward etc... :old:
