Two things I can think of. One when your done mapping the buttons you have to hit the "OK" button to finish the setting on the clipboard. And two, you have to be IN mode 2 for it to work. To get to mode 2 you either need to map a button to switch modes, or you have to "X" the box under the drop downs that says "automatically switch modes when upping" or something like that (if you are using mode 2 for vehicles, auto is good.).
