Stick settings
« on: April 05, 2013, 04:43:24 PM »
So I finally have the "Family PC" which is gotta have enuf juice to run AH

I had windows 8, now have windows 7 and all of my CH gear seems to work fine

My question if for the guys who primarily turn fight

Where are your sliders in AH stick settings
Where is your dampening in AH stick settings

My memory from last time I flew, which is about 2 or 3 yrs ago I had the sliders to the top for both pitch and roll
The dampening was closer to the bottom for both as well

Thx

Whether you scale pitch and rudder is a personal preference. Try scaling both. Don't scale roll. Use no or minimal damping, just enough to eliminate jitter if the slider has any. Use no or minimal deadband, just enough to keep the auto-pilot on.

Oldie, but a goodie:

I would put my own stick scaling at closer to picture 1 (including the deadband and dampening), but it incorporates a gradual curve like that of picture 2:

Wow, you guys need help.

I put mine all the way to the top except for dead band and dampening...those are on the bottom.  I got those setting from Nomak.
