in the Memphis Belle? Especially since it was what he wanted for his Birthday.
He was a Waist gunner with 7 Missions over Europe.

The "Greatest Generation" folks are leaving us,
numbering in the thousands per day now.
Won't be long till they are all gone.
I wish time could be paused, so we could get the untold stories from the tens of thousands
around the World that have not had their experiences told.
