I think in the next few years that the military and police will really jump on this tech from training. The possibilities are endless for training scenarios and such, not to mention being able to simulate fatigue and what not now. I'm sure it'll be popular with the gaming world as well, but the true value I believe is in created real world simulations where moving around under fire and using cover will be cheaper to train people on.

If Occulus pans out, this is the final piece of the puzzle. I imagine exercise will be more enjoyable if I can get it while pretending to storm the beaches at Normandy.

Hmm, jumping, diving to prone, crawling, seems like the big problems with this. IMO, if you want motions to work, take the Xbox Kinect and make them 100x more accurate. Treadmills won't work too well.

It's already working well Titanic, and they've incorporated another technology to do all that other stuff you mentioned, from the same company. It'll be able to track pretty much your entire body, plus with the ability to "move" a la treadmill. I'll post the video of that once I can find it again, it was on PC Gamer's website someplace.
