When designing a cockpit and what can be seen from the cockpit to be used in AH what scale is used?  I assume they are scaled down to keep them proportionally correct.

I`ve read and heard that the IPS panels like that  Dell U3014 aren`t the best for gaming, and have lots of ghosting and other issues. I haven`t tried one myself yet so I can`t say.

I`ve got 3 monitors setup too on my main system, 3 24" Asus 144hz monitors.  I was going to go with 27" BenQ 120hz, but went with these because they were on really cheap, almost 1/2 the price of the BenQ's.

I also have a 40" Sony LED 120hz TV that I run as a home theater PC screen in my office, and put games up from time to time on it just for the purposes of seeing how they look on it.

There is NO comparison to the 3 monitor setup, at least for Aces High or any other game. I would even prefer just a single 24" 144hz monitor over the 40" TV screen if it came to that.

Agreed. My three monitors are old 21" Dell Ultrasharp. They look fine in landscape mode but resolution is only 1680 x 1050. Refresh rate 2ms. Too small for my taste. I tried portrait mode which I prefer but then run into issues with viewing angle. I am fine with my 30 inch and it shows in my score even though I don't play that many hours or even daily. TV's have much less contrast as well as spatial resolution.

The dell ips panels have some bad ghosting but most others do not..I am running on a 1440p ips panel with a 6ms response time and it is actually faster then my 27in Asus with 2ms response time tn panel..I ran the test with both monitors hooked up and there was less ghosting on my ips.I cant even play on a 1080p monitor anymore lol.I like 3.7 million pixels over 2 million. And i still get 100fps  :rock

Is that one of the IPS panels you can order from Korea on Ebay Numb1?  I've been interested in seeing one of them perform, I've read good things from other gamers as well using them.  I know my hardware can handle one, I'm not sure about running 3 of them however.

It is a LG grade A1 panel but the are from Monopice in CA..I didn't want to deal with korea and customs and such.Plus it takes awhile to get your monitor from korea and i didn't want to risk having to send it back..
