so basically you want a goon with a gunner.   the reason this plane didn't do as crappy as it should have done is because it didn't face late war airplanes. if it had, wel it would have been what it was,  a ww2 plane that did great against nobody,  just like the Italian army did.

Neh. A goon with a gunner would be the JU-52 (which would be a good addition if drunk skins match the delivery equipment).

(Notice the troops are kept in a torpedo slung underneath)

And yeah, the SM.79 did not historically fly in the Aces High Late War Main Arena
(the 'reason' most given to argue against any early war plane no matter how many
were made or how much it flew combat missions in WWII).  :)

i meant a goon as in the plane that can't defend itself not as a troop carrier.

Meh. That's never been a requirement for modeling. Take the B5N for instance. ;)
