Perk The C-47
« on: July 17, 2015, 04:00:38 AM »
This ride is obviously way too overpowered and used.

Reasons...

1) Has the destructive power to make even a base simply join your side to releive itself of pain. B-29's cannot even do that.

2) Feared among all players since it is usually exterminated from the sky upon sighting simply because of its overwhelming presence.

3) Impossible to miss shooting down aircraft "100% hit ratio". Doesn't need ordinance to destroy the mightiest of tanks.

4) You have 10 extra co-pilots or a week supply of beer at all times.

5) The only ENY 40 bird that is not a hanger queen in any regard. "Snail Bait"

Thankyou in advance for considering this highly needed request.

It is sad watching cons auger around him or running away on numerous occasions. Then it was pretty funny watching a p38L, Ki84 and spit unable to shoot him down until they came in from 3 directions and shot at the same moment. And they all missed until he stalled at the top and hung there. Looked like one of those blue angles stunts where everyone goes vertical then breaks off in different directions. Crabby's C47 went in different directions.

I think crabby can get away with some carapace rattling over this.

It's probably the only reason why the thread didn't get locked for Rule #4

All the more reason why I'm hoping to keep the other thread from going too overboard. So far it's fine and hopefully it'll stay in the realm of fun.

One of my favourite memories on Aces High was coming across an NOE gooney mission in an isolated part of the map. There were maybe ten or twelve. It was frustrating, because like an eagle attacking a flock of birds you just can't get them all. But I got as many as I could before I ran out of ammunition. Got a few prox skills by scaring a couple into the ground. Days like that don't come very often.

You're nothing until you achieve ace in one sortie in the C47...

And you need to replace your engine sound to Benny Hill music.

Hmmmmm....  Another "hidden" achievement???
