Yes! Great idea. Take the radar from the airfields and put them out on the terrain close to the shore? (as they were) Put ack around them for self defense (mannable too?) and only allow the tower to come down by hard ordinance, not from straffing?
I wish I knew how radar worked in AH to get a better idea on how to help your idea out.
More for what type of radar covers what size of an area. Are there different types? What are the keys to losing dot radar or "bar" dar as well as loss of enemy and not friendly info etc. In other words what are the radar damage step points for XXXX result.
I wonder if the terrain builders know?
