Embedding Multiple Aircraft Skins to SEA Terrains.
« on: November 06, 2013, 01:23:46 AM »
Currently only one skin per object can be embedded into the terrain file - i.e. you can redesign the default skin only.

It would be really helpful for SEA to be able to embed several (non-default) skins to the terrain. This way for example an accurate historical skins for the same aircraft from different squadrons can be used.

Also in some special events the same aircraft had flown on different sides, especially when some substitutions are required - it would provide a significant improvement for SEA.

Thanks!

I would like it so the planner of a mission (i.e. in FSO) can pick the skin and include it into the mission.  For me, not so much for historical significance (though it would be considered) but for cammo use.  NOE, select something that will give you concealment.  Up high, select something white, etc...

Unless I am misreading something here, I think you are onto a good and deliverable wish...
