Don't forget the bish and rook furball backup hoards at 25k and 30k waiting to come in and save the first wave furball hoard at 20k if they can't kill the 1 guy against 20 in 30 seconds. That usually means he's a 5%er and has to be crushed, or one of the 20 guys in the first furball hoard won't make it home alive.

Knights are lazy, they have no interest in climbing to 20k for a furball. Asking them to form up for a 20k fighter sweep gets you called worse things than they call the "alt sissy" bish and rook furball hoards. Ever notice you save your nastiest observations for those closest to you......

Lately the bish and rooks have been trying to use that against the knights as ACM BS'd with the title strategy. They still have to come down and fight some day before their fuel runs out. And then as usual, the "Vikings" quickly send them home to bring more planes to be shot down. It's just getting boring these days with the small window called prime time waiting for the bish and rooks to waste 2\3 of it climbing to 20k, and then milling around up there before they come down and fight. And it turns out the new ACM altitude strategy is really HO everyone you can as you are diving at 500 for the deck. Pull up, rinse and repeat. Then run away and get separation while looking to join up with the next 20k hoard of cavalry coming in to save everyone from the evil lazy knights milling around on the deck.

There are 5%er exceptions in both the bish and rook countries. The problem is, that's such a statisticaly small number of players in any engagement. So the vast majority are doing the 500mph spit in your face dive for life from 20k now days.

I feel for the guys in Yaks who climb to 20k and limit their play time to a few minutes before they run out of fuel. If 20k is the new norm. It would be nice if Hitech changed the fuel burn back to 1.5. It would give me more time  dodging the 25k and 30k furball backup rescue hoards when I'm up there by myself at 20k in a spit14 hunting for them. My theory is they will think I'm a 5%er and avoid me for fear of being shot down, and I won't have to show them how really lame I am. Since only 5%er's challenge hoards alone in this game and come away in one piece.

There might be a few that never boom and zoom, but all 3 countries have their fair share of high alt pickers.  It's a method of killing enemy.  Most pilots have used this strategy at one time or another.  Heck Bustr, your squad has several pilots that use that strategy almost 100% of the time.  The knights do exactly what the bishops and rooks do.  I was a knight for 12 or so years.  Since I started flying on the rook side about a year ago, I see the same thing you accuse the bishops and rooks of doing done by the knights.  In reality, it's just a game.  Laugh and have fun and don't take things so seriously.  I know I have to remind myself of this at times.
