There's so much more to the game then dog fighting. You cant dog fight at night ? That's cause there wasn't a lot of dog fighting at night. I think it sucks that when this game started out it was more on the lines of a simulator. But then as more people cried for the game they signed up for to change it to be "easier" for them to dog fight. Come on now no one is asking for it to be night time all the time but it would be cool to have some night time if its only for an hour a day something. It gets old fighting in sunny skies everyday all day. Another thing I see a lot of people saying no on the forums but I never see them in the game. I think that should be taken in consideration on each person that has something to say about the game when their only logging in once a month. Please bring back night Thank You
Many who are on these forums don't have the same names as they do in-game. I am one of the few who has the same name on these forums as I do in-game.
The 2 main reasons why people don't want night back is..
#1. They can turn up their gamma and make it day (for them) while your still flying in the dark.
#2. Because "it isn't realistic"
I agree that it gets old flying in sunny skies or slightly cloudy days.. with sun. It would be nice for weather system, maybe. But night is something different from the norm, that's why many of the 'new' crowd like it. From the perspective of the 'veteran' crowd though, it's annoying to change your gamma (for those who have trouble seeing, considering a majority of the subscription base is 'ye old folk'
), when you have to change it back to 'normal' in a few minutes. This has been a tug-of-war for many years, and ultimately ended with night losing. I doubt that will change.
