intermittent loss of icons

Been flying the F4U-1 a little this tour and keep having enemy icons disappear at various distances.  I can see the planes the whole time but still lose icons.  Anyone else having this issue?

It's happened to me before, usually when I am in bombers, or looking at bombers...

I often loose icons on bombers when attacking them.
I would say around 1.5 to 2.5 k out

This happens to me but only when looking at bombers. Usually only for short periods looking out of the side or front quarter views of a fighter

I've noticed that if a bomber's drone is at the correct angle, it will cover up the lead bomber and the icon will disappear until the drone's angle to the formation changes.

I have also had icons that were not green or red, more of a white color, so the only way to tell if a plane is an enemy is if the text says so. The white color icons seem to be at the far 6k distance, the colors seem to be ok when less than 3k distance.

This started happening when I upgraded to a new computer and assumed the graphics card was to blame.

Now that you bring this up... I've been seeing GV icons go in and out with a 152.  My thought was until now that they had gone engines off - but I'm not sure anymore.  I'll pay more attention with your comments in mind.

This happens to me with gvs when I am in fighters and against bombers...the gv icon will go off at about 800 out and come back when around 400...with bombers it will go off between 2.5 and 1.5...I just thought it was my computer...really made it hard to bomb gvs for awhile but when the icon goes off I let go now

Not sure if its related, but in an A20 I lose icons when looking through the top of the canopy.

It sometimes happens with bombers but with the F4U-1, I was constantly losing icons of enemy fighters.  Maybe it has something to do with my adjusted views differing from default.  Never had this happen with any other plane.
