"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

:salute He struck me as a Humble down to earth guy. Like many of his generation he fought a terrible war, caught a terrible wound, went home and got a job and raised a family. I remember in his interview he spent a career with US Mail and how he was "lucky to have had a good life". That was one hell of a generation and he was one hell of a soldier.

A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
