Warthog HOTAS for sale
« on: March 09, 2014, 08:09:31 PM »
http://www.ebay.com/itm/221387967460?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649

This has been an expensive piece of home decor for the past 14 months.  Used about 2 months IIRC and works perfectly.  Listed on ebay due to being left in the lurch by 4 different players that said they wanted my rudder pedals.  Auction ends next Sunday.

Very nice.  The Buy It Now price is a very reasonable one for this unit.  If I didn't already have one I'd gobble this one up quick.  :aok

FYI - As a Warthog owner I will state the paint wear on the trigger unit is very normal and also used to happen to the old Cougars.  I finally got tired of repainting them and now just strip them to bare metal when they start peeling.  Same with the rocker switch.

If you sell it what are you going to use?

ps: If you read the op, you will notice that I haven't used the Warthog for some time now.

Perhaps it would be but I am apparently incapable of using rudder pedals.  The same reason I had to sell my CH Fighter Stick and Combat Stick years ago.  Paid a nice chunk of change for the Warthog and liked it a lot but I couldn't hit anything I shot at and generally felt uncoordinated using pedals.  I tried both CH and Saitek.  Liked the Saiteks better.

Kept telling myself that I'd make another go with the pedals because I didn't want to get rid of the Warthog.  Eventually, I realized that I am comfortable with the twisty stick and the rest, as they say, is history.
