Ugh the skilled ditch !! I had so many pilots do this to me, it drove me INSANE ! good 5-10 minute fight, you finally get the upper hand and score some crippling shots.. then he ditches and you don't get the satisfaction of a hard earned kill
That being said... I pulled off my first successful ditch a few nights ago. my F4u-1A against a NIK. great fight, I got a few good hits, reversed on him a couple times, but he eventually out turned me and took half my wing. I was able to set her down on her belly, and while he turned to come back for a death blow.. I ditched. I must admit... I smiled as his PMs started coming in calling me every name in the book. DENIED
