Tanks are now running automatically, which means they shift for you.

Make sure your rudder trim is centered.

I quite often find if it's doing that for me, quick tap left and right on my rudder pedals, then hit W gets me moving again.  Shift-W doesn't really seem to work for me in that scenario sometimes, not sure why.  My rudders have a fair bit of deadband in them, so I don't think accidental rudder input is the issue.

The rudder seems to be the biggest problem I have,,, it happened to me the other day for the first time,  a little bit of turn and it will only creep along, no matter what you do!

Ive this problem also. Move your joystick around while holding down W and it should start shifting. Means your rudder trim isn't 100% centered.

Hope this helped

As an added tip, you can use the"stuck in first" deal as a way to creep along. Just get rolling and add just a touch of rudder. The tank will creep along slowly as you advance to a new position, or creep up on those enemy campers  :devil
