You can't be serious.  Smart phones haven't even been around ten years.  You're saying 10 years ago "almost" every parent lost a child before age two?  AND the "recent reduction" is due to smart phones?  Really?

you said for hundreds of years not 10 years ago.

I was talking about the entire pre-smart phone history of humanity.  I have no idea what the mortaility rate is among children over that time period.

Now that that's settled, you're comment still reads, in the context of this thread, as though you belive a rise in child mortality rates can be attributed to smart phones.  Please elaborate.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

when did i say that having a smart phone raises mortality rate.

and when does having/not having a smart phone is equal to raising a child.  because for thousands of years parents raised their children without internet or computers.  and I see you arent giving up yours.

but lets really talk about the context of this thread.  the thread was about how long will a certain battery will last.  it wasnt about his:

And there probably still isn't.  If I'm not mistaken people have been raising children for hundreds of years without smart phones.

and my reply to you was a bit of sarcasm.  while there's no need to have a smart phone, it doesnt hurt to have one either.  unless of course you cant afford it but that's another story.  I dont have a fishing boat because I cant afford it.  but I dont go around telling people that billions of parents raise children without owning one do I  :salute.
