Torque question
« on: November 13, 2014, 09:57:32 AM »
Do all the WW2 single-engine aircraft in AH2 have clockwise (as viewed from cockpit) propeller rotation producing a left roll? I thought there were a few that were opposite. Thanks in advance.

The Spit14, Tempest, Typhoon, and most Russian aircraft are counter-clockwise.

The starboard side prop of the P-38 also turn counter-clockwise :)

I believe it's the left side, but the OP asked about single engine aircraft. P-38s may land with one but they take off with two.

Yes.  The right props turns clockwise.  The left prop turns counter-clockwise.  I am often seen flying home on my spare engine.
