I have wondered about this over the years. It would be a nice touch for GV battles. Then say V85, 12 hours of dead tanks at the spawn point would build one heck of a bent metal pile. Crash wreckage on runways would be interesting. Again 12 hours later.....
Unlike games that the battle is on a timer, we are forever On. I think many players forget this feature difference.
Someone made a wish about parked planes that can be destroyed towards fighters and bombers being totally down . That would be nice to, though the sight of respawning them as the field rebuilds would be kind of hoaky more so than the field itself rebuilding. And then when you had a bad landing into them, or your wirbel sitting on one's spawn point when that plane reappears, who gets smashed? Hoaky would be the wirble being pushed aside or dieing from killshooter.
Another question is, how much will these objects add to the slide show and stutter effect from an object saturated area?
The mechanism could probably be introduced such that the AvA, custom arenas, and offline missions can play with it. Did anyone ever ask themselves why a GV is either alive or dead and gone? Or why the "area" for a field or town has a defined number of destroyable objects. Have a furball on the deck over the city and you get a slide show. I'm sure some of you have attacked a 30 plane or more bomber formation and experienced that slide show while you were inside of the saturated "object area".
