I disagree, I find that Return of the Jedi is often undervalued. There's a lot of subtlety that's overlooked because of the Ewok teeth-gnashing (most people tend not to pay attention to the fact that they were GETTING THEIR tulips KICKED until Luke started fighting back). The confrontation between Luke, Vader and the Emperor may be the high point of the entire Trilogy, and while it may not have had the most iconic pieces of music, Jedi probably had the best overall score of the franchise (I mean seriously, you have THIS piece).

Jedi was by no means perfect and had its flaws, but because it's not the original film and it had to follow-up on one of the greatest movies of all time, it just doesn't get viewed fairly.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Watching the three original Movies in the Theaters as a teenager I was wowed by the hardware. Return of the Jedi and the final space battle was awesome. There is something special about the use of models compared with todays CGI. You feel a disconnect with the insertion of Jabba in A New Hope.

I didn't care about picking apart the acting I was immersed in the story. Movies that can do that will stand the test of time.  :aok
I always wanted to fight an impossible battle against incredible odds.

I do know for a fact that Harrison Ford was very much "bored" with his role as Han Solo and thought it would be best to kill off his character.

This saddens me, as Han was one of my favorite characters, and made me become a Ford fanboy to begin with. In fact, I almost bought a life-size Han Solo cutout a few years back, but someone else beat me to it...

No homo.
