This Panther was a vehicle of Panzer Regiment 15, part of the 11th Panzer Division based in Southern Russia in October 1943. The 11th Panzer Division fought in Southern and central Russia from 1941 until early 1944 when it was transferred to France to recuperate after heavy losses. It later fought the Western Allies through France and Germany until the end of the war.
