49th FG (in Bf-109G-14) did an outstanding job of finding and identifying successive Allied sweeps and probes near our defensive-CAP assignment, A147.
JG11 (in FW-190A-8) was able to avoid Allied fighters and set up a near-perfect HO attack on the incoming B-26 raid. We saw only very minimal interference from Allied escorts.
