You know...

These are not that easy to write. Especially with the looming chance that someone is going to be upset after the event is published. With all that understood, we all have choices to make with how we entertain ourselves on Friday nights. The FSO Team hopes that with all their efforts, you will decide to spend it with us.

The FSO Admin staff spends a lot of hours writing and reviewing these event write-ups. This particular write-up is not written for a specific battle, just to represent a period of time.

As some of you have stated already, historically it was the beginning of the end for the Luftwaffe and certainly the end for the Regia Aeronautica. Write-ups that are close to the exact history have very low entertainment value, as also mentioned in previous post.

So, this write up is just meant to be fun and not offend anyone. So from my prospective there is no offense taken with questions about the write up, but the setup is not going to change either.

We hope to see everyone in uniform and in larger numbers than ever before. Thanks for your comments and your support.

Cheers...

I take issue with the assumption on your part that I wasn't.

Indeed. It's not.

I am sorry that you cannot see that your reply was not a " forthright and sincere expression " to the questions and concerns that were brought up by Alpini.

You also make no attempt to hide your dislike for him. I understand that may come from the many times you have had to reply to his posts in the past and the relationship that created between you and him.

AKWarHwk seems to have explained it so that everyone can understand it, kudos to him.

I like the scenario and setup and kudos to you Mr Squire <S>

It's refreshing to get a little humor which should equal some more fun in the FSO.  And the "What if scenarios" which this isn't Id like to see more of (once a year).  Also shows initiative and forward thinking on the part of the CM Team.  Some new scenarios are needed in the FSO line up and although I'm not a big fan of early or mid war scenarios glad to see this one, because it's new.

And it wouldn't bother the Allied side if we were ahead by the start of Frame 3 if we had an option to bomb our own base, as long as we got points for it 😄

Let's have some fun!!
