Confused, what version am I on now?

I thought i was beta 3 patch 4, but I see people refer to beta 4.

I downloaded Skuzzy's link, that says beta 4, but when I bring up the game it says "Version 0.02 Patch 4"

So, is this beta 4 or beta 3 or beta 2 ?  If I need to report, show films, screen shots, etc. how do I know what I'm running?

I think it goes like this:

Version 0.01 was Alpha.

We are now in Beta, Version 0.02.  And we are up to Patch 4, so it's referred to as "Beta 4".

Grandpa, if you haven't noticed the old version threads get locked when a new is launched. Thus you can't report issues from an incorrect version unless you're only playing offline. The online updates go hand in hand with the relevant threads.

You can see the name of the current version in the sticky of the upper part of this forum. Right now the title says "Beta Patch 4 download (February 4,2016)". Note that there's no download posts about the previous patches, the new post always replaces the old one. Also the link in the latest "Beta ##" post by Skuzzy, starting "New version up!" leads to the latest download message mentioned in the previous sentence.

So as long as you keep your Beta game up-to-date and report in the latest "Beta ##" thread, you just can't miss.
