Bloody Shambles
Southwestern Pacific January 1942

It's mid January of 1942 and the Japanese war machine is
rolling across the central and southwest Pacific at full
speed. The Allies overextended and unprepared, are reeling
from the onslaught. Within four months the Japanese empire
will reach its' peak before the fortunes of war begin to turn
against them.

It's during this time, on an atoll in the SW Pacific that a small
group of Allied airmen will fight it out against the combined
might of Japanese Army and Naval units. The Allies have
gathered together all available aircraft. Some Tomahawks,
Warhawks, a few Navy Wildcats along with a handful of
RAF Hurricanes and Bostons.

There are rumors in the Allied ranks that a relief force is on
the way, "TF-11". But the reality is these men are on their
own, buying precious time so the Allies can reorganize and
build up strength for a decisive blow against the enemy.
