AH2 or the Beta?

Post a dxdiag report, well just the first third to help us figure out what your problem is.

My wingman noted the problem last Saturday.   He lost about half his frameRate over the enemy base.  There were a lot of friendly and enemy aircraft plus half a dozen tanks from both sides.  I didn't notice it.

A dxdiag can be done at any time. It is basically a list of what your computer has in it and what drivers your using for them. If your not sure how to get one, click here

Thats why a dxdiag is important. Your computer may be a bit stronger and so you dont see a slow down where as your squadie might have one that isn't as strong and all that info (planes and GVs) pushed it to its limit.

I've noticed massive droppings in certain places in both versions of AH. I know the limitations of my computer, and I've been able to reproduce the drops. The strangest thing I've noticed is that it may not be the entire field, it's only a spot and only on a few fields. On some map the valley leading to the home field had such a spot while both the home and enemy fields were fully playable even low alt with fire and smoke. Such spots would be nice to be located and fixed, but typing a .psave command with and identifiable name is a little challenging during a 300 mph dive.

A wish/question: would it be possible to map a key for .psave?

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

Fascinating. For a short period of time I was getting screen freeze then crash/reboot over what I thought  was one specific part of an enemy field. But I assumed it was coincidence. Anyway, I'll be sure to post dxdialog and field location if this occurs again.

In AH2 if I'm experiencing this with a field, or on going discos, I exit the game, delete that map's res file from the ahiiterr directory and log back in forcing a new map download.
