MADe, since it looks like the most n/a are for Intel gear, I have to ask if you've installed your motherboard drivers or just let Windows do it.

You might want to run the Intel driver update utility: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html

Also I noticed that you seem to have the HDMI sound drivers installed and active.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

One of the players has found the latest NVidia sound drivers are causing a lot of problems.  He rolled back to an earlier driver and it solved his issues.

If that is not an option, then try running the DX9 version of the game.

Just a note, the Tunisia map with it's simpler graphics offered no stutters on either dx9 or 11 using an amd card.  I did use them both just to see.

The DX11 version, I can run default setting on some terrians and have to turn off shadows on others.

An interesting test is using the M18 canon sight.  Turn the turret and watch for stutters.  Stutters will show up there first best I can tell.

Strange but I got stutters and light flashes during the beginning of the first flight but then everything was fine. Its like when I Log on, for the first minute or so I get lousy FR's but then everything smooths out. Its almost like the game has to warm up first is the best I can describe it. Also at first I had bomber shakes while in wingman mode but then that smoothed out as well. By the 2nd flight everything was running perfect.

Strange. Maybe the auto features of the GPU. At first I thought "connection" except for the variety of the Tics and the clock work time they happen. Which is very short thankfully.

I installed all current drivers myself. have not really updated w10 from install point, not planning to either. yes I use the NVidia hdmi to use led speakers for environment and sound effects. I use a cheap mic and stereo headset, analog, for coms voice and talk.
with internet there are always stutters, but I appear to be getting overloaded, this pc should not be getting overloaded from ah.

that utility is fairly useless.

I can believe it, sometimes they can be a PITA even to install. However, sometimes I've managed to find a missing driver with that. And I suppose a driver app by the manufacturer is much more reliable than the heavily advertized third party gimmicks.

There is a lot of background loading of textures and objects when you first go to a tower, from a fresh start of the game.  It is normal for there to be a frame rate hit during the first minute or two (depending on the computer, how many players are around...).

Yeah that makes sense. It only happens for about a minute so theres no problem and you never see it again after the first time. I thought it was an auto mode in either power or the GPU cause it also happens at an empty base, but even there a lot of data is being Loaded. I was just wondering, thanks for the answer.

I am one who had issues with running the latest nvidia drivers while using HDMI so I could use my existing speaker setup involving the TV/monitor speakers. I found a unique issue with the DX-11 version ONLY.
While using the existing nvidia driver I was getting a very intermittent, for no better word 'crash' to a white screen with sound that required a ctl alt del.
So I posted my DXdiag here, and someone mentioned the HDMI I was using,  I don't remember why but I decided to use 7 zip to extract the nvidia driver and looked at the details of the HDMI folder then I started downloading drivers until I saw a change. So I grabbed that HDMI folder and put it back into the new driver folder replacing the original not merging them. Then I reboot into safe mode use DDU and reboot installed new driver again I never install anything but the driver and phys x and sound or whatever it's called.
So far I have no issues with DX 11 that I don't have with DX 9 mostly smooth sailing with a very rare crash all reported maybe two?

There was some reason I can't put my finger on though like some mention in a thread about some conflict in sound driver or something in the event viewer not sure but I didn't do it for fun I'm getting old and didn't take notes.

If anyone want's to try the older hdmi driver that I used I can find out what one you need it's pretty straight forward I just went to nvidia and grabbed the drivers they are just a self extracting compressed folder but winrar doesn't extract it for some reason I didn't bother trying I just used 7 zip.
