RADAR Range.
« on: January 28, 2017, 07:44:25 AM »

Radar range color, I suggest within radar range, Light Color Circle.
Without radar range, Dark Color.
When radar is Down, Red color or dark color.

If you can, calculate LOS(Line of Sight)

They would need DTED to do LOS calculations...would also create radar blind spots which would lead to players getting their panties up their cracks due to "stealth" fighters out there...

I imagine the calculations to do the LOS could be done each time you enter a radar circle...by the players end, and not the servers end.  Just wonder what sort of impact that would have on your FPS.
