what the crew does to make a boat go faster or slower, is not the captains problem. when I say go faster, they make it go faster!

technical issues are not the captains problem!! hehehe

thrila, I ran boats up to 120feet. while I know that WW2 ships aren't that simple, modern boats and yachts are. just 1 really long control cable and now an electronic or hydraulic throttle controls.

in the old days it was nothing more then a telegraph, and then someone opened or closed valves.

It's still a little more complex than that. Modern boats may be that way, but plenty of warships in service aren't, jaeger.

Your previous post made me laugh because at the end of the day, that is what matters. It doesn't really matter what happens behind the scenes- my initial post should have read 'Ship's aren't as responsive as many people in aces high imagine them to be'.
